A new addition to the pmx family
It was my birthday. This is my birthday present. It's a japanese jazzmaster '62 reissue. It's a lovely guitar, and plays like a dream. Can't decide whether I'll use my alt tuning or a standard tuning with it, but check the factory installed tune-o-matic bridge, jazz, jag, and mustang fans. A huge bonus in my book, having had the shitty little screws in the standard jazz bridge fall out or scratch my hand up time after time while playing. It was so bad on my other japanese jazz (and that was my second bridge) that i used to cover the bridge in electrician's tape before playing so I wouldn't rip my hand to shreds or lose more screws.
So far with the new jazzmaster it's love, love, love. I personally blame Robert Smith for all the jazz love - he had the first jazzmaster I ever coveted when I was just a young girl listening to faith over and over in the dark.
Anyway, new gear is definitely good incentive! Now to finish that set of songs...I think we were at 5 minutes and counting. Off to make noise!
